MSR Ceramic Pot

The ceramic coating is significantly more durable and scratch-resistant than standard PTFE nonstick coatings. While it is tough, you should still use silicone or wooden utensils to ensure the longevity of the surface.

While the aluminum construction is heat-conductive, this pot is designed primarily for use with camping stoves. Direct, uncontrolled heat from a campfire can damage the nonstick coating and potentially warp the aluminum.

The Talon handle is designed to lock securely onto the rim of the pot, providing a stable grip for pouring or stirring. It is specifically engineered to prevent the metal-on-metal contact that typically scratches the exterior of camping pots.

This pot is best suited for solo adventurers or minimalist pairs. It is perfect for boiling water for dehydrated meals or cooking simple one-pot dishes, but it may be tight if you are planning to cook complex meals for two.

The lid is designed to sit securely on top of the pot, but it does not lock or snap into place. You will need to hold the lid down with the handle or your hand while draining water.
