The 95mm platform is a versatile sweet spot. It is wide enough to provide decent float in soft, fresh powder, yet narrow enough to maintain quick edge-to-edge transitions and solid grip on firmer, wind-scoured backcountry snow.

The ST Radical is a reliable, industry-standard binding for general touring, but it is designed for efficiency rather than high-speed, aggressive charging. If you are a heavier skier or prefer to ski very aggressively, you may find the 4-10 DIN range limiting.

The ski itself weighs 1120 grams, which is exceptionally light for a 95mm waist. When you factor in the ST Radical bindings and skins, the total weight remains highly competitive for long-distance touring and multi-day traverses.
