Totem Tribe III

The Tribe III is designed for versatility and can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. This flexibility allows you to position it as a center channel speaker beneath your display or as left and right mains alongside it.

The Tribe III has a recommended power range of 30 to 200 watts and an impedance of 4 ohms. Most modern, high-quality AV receivers can handle this load, but you should verify that your specific amplifier is stable at 4 ohms to ensure optimal performance.

Despite its slim 3.5-inch depth, the Tribe III utilizes proprietary 4-inch Torrent woofers that are engineered for significant excursion. This allows the speaker to achieve a frequency response down to 40 Hz, providing a surprisingly full-range sound that avoids the thinness often associated with shallow on-wall speakers.

Bi-wire connectors allow you to run separate cables from your amplifier to the high-frequency and low-frequency sections of the speaker. While not strictly necessary, this setup can offer a cleaner, more detailed signal path for those looking to extract the maximum possible performance from their system.

While they are excellent for home theater due to their wide soundstage and dispersion, their acoustic precision makes them very capable for music listening. If you appreciate a detailed, transparent sound signature, they perform beautifully in a two-channel stereo setup.

Each unit measures 5.9 inches wide by 36 inches tall. You will need to ensure you have enough clear wall space to accommodate these dimensions, plus a little extra room for cable management and mounting hardware.
