The Offtrack Crown pattern provides reliable grip for most moderate ascents. However, for steeper or icier terrain, the skis are designed to be compatible with dual skins, which you should add for extra traction when the base pattern isn't enough.

Paulownia is a lightweight wood that helps reduce the overall swing weight of the ski. This makes long-distance touring much less fatiguing, allowing you to save your energy for the descent.

The Nordic Rocker tip helps the ski float on top of deep snow rather than diving into it. It also makes turn initiation much smoother and more intuitive, which is essential when you are navigating tight trees or challenging backcountry terrain.

Length selection depends on your weight and the type of terrain you frequent. Generally, a longer ski provides better float and glide, while a shorter ski offers more maneuverability in tight, technical terrain.
