The D9 features a passive radiator that significantly boosts low-end output, allowing it to reach down to 64Hz. While they provide impressive bass for their size, listeners who prioritize deep, cinematic sub-bass will likely still want to pair them with a dedicated subwoofer.

With an 8-ohm impedance and 88dB sensitivity, the D9 is relatively efficient and easy to drive. A quality integrated amplifier or receiver with 50 to 150 watts per channel will provide more than enough headroom for clean, dynamic performance.
