Yes, the Puro Long Serving Board is food safe. It is designed specifically for serving appetizers, charcuterie, and hors d'oeuvres directly on the wood surface.

This board is not dishwasher safe. To maintain the wood, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it immediately. We recommend occasionally applying a food-safe mineral oil to keep the teak conditioned and prevent it from drying out.

The board measures 30.25 inches in length, 10 inches in width, and 0.75 inches in height. Its elongated shape is specifically designed to serve as a centerpiece for long tables.

While the teak wood is durable, using it as a heavy-duty cutting board will leave knife marks and alter its sculptural appearance. It is best used as a serving platter for prepared foods rather than a prep surface for chopping.
