While its low-profile design is specifically engineered for the root systems of bonsai, it works beautifully for other shallow-rooted indoor plants or as a decorative centerpiece. The nesting bowl design provides excellent stability for a variety of small, slow-growing specimens.

The planter features a drainage hole at the base that allows excess water to pass through into the matching ceramic saucer. This prevents water from pooling around the roots while protecting your tabletop surfaces.

The set is designed to function as a cohesive unit, with the inner bowl nesting securely into the saucer. The extended edge on the planter is specifically included to make it easy to lift the bowl out of the saucer for cleaning or maintenance.

Because the Form 28 is handcrafted by Tung Chiang in San Francisco, there will be subtle variations in the glaze and finish. These slight differences are intentional characteristics of the artisanal process, ensuring your specific piece is unique.

The Form 28 is intended for indoor use. Its glazed ceramic finish and delicate design are best suited for climate-controlled environments like a living room, office, or sunroom.
