The 3D-printed padding uses digital light synthesis to create varying levels of density across the saddle surface. This allows for specific zonal support, meaning it is firmer where you need stability and softer where you need pressure relief, without the breakdown issues common in standard foam.

Instead of a physical hole, the Tempo Aliante R1 uses a softer, more compliant central zone in the 3D-printed lattice. This design manages pressure effectively while maintaining a consistent surface feel, which prevents the edges of a cutout from creating discomfort during long rides.

The 7x9 mm oval rails are compatible with most modern seatposts that use a side-clamping mechanism. However, if your seatpost uses a top-and-bottom clamping system, you will need to ensure it is compatible with oval-shaped carbon rails before installation.

The wavy profile is specifically designed to provide a 'cradled' feeling, which helps stabilize your pelvis during endurance rides. While it is excellent for riders who prefer a locked-in position, those who frequently shift forward and backward on the saddle may find the shape more restrictive than a flat profile.

While optimized for endurance road cycling, the Aliante R1's stability and vibration-dampening 3D-printed padding make it a solid choice for gravel riding as well. The wider 155 mm platform provides extra support on rougher terrain where you might be seated for long durations.
