The ENVE M6 rear wheel comes with a Shimano Micro Spline freehub body. You will need to ensure your cassette is compatible with the Micro Spline standard before purchasing.

ENVE engineers the front and rear rims differently to address the unique forces each wheel experiences. The rear rim is optimized for durability and power transfer, while the front is tuned for compliance and traction, resulting in a more balanced and predictable handling experience on the trail.

While the rim profile is optimized for a tubeless setup, which we highly recommend for mountain biking, you can use inner tubes if you prefer. Just ensure you use a compatible rim tape and tire combination.

This wheel is designed for Center Lock disc rotors. You will need to use Center Lock compatible rotors, or use an adapter if you are currently running 6-bolt rotors.

Yes, a 29mm internal width is a sweet spot for modern trail tires. It provides excellent sidewall support for tires ranging from 2.3 to 2.5 inches, helping to prevent tire squirm in corners without making the tire profile too square.

The high-engagement hub provides near-instant power transfer when you pedal. This is particularly noticeable on technical, rocky climbs where you need to ratchet your pedals to clear obstacles without striking them on the ground.
