It is designed to work with saddlebags up to 18 cm in width. While it is optimized for the Topeak Backloader series, it will provide stability for most standard large bikepacking saddlebags that fall within that width constraint.

The Wishbone attaches directly to your saddle rails, so it generally does not interfere with the dropper post mechanism itself. However, you should ensure that your saddlebag has enough clearance from the rear tire when the dropper is fully compressed.

Yes, the Wishbone functions perfectly as a rear bottle cage mount even without a saddlebag. It is a great way to add extra hydration capacity to your bike for long rides.

The mount is designed to clamp onto standard metal saddle rails. We recommend checking your saddle manufacturer's guidelines regarding rail clamps before installation, as carbon rails can be sensitive to clamping pressure.

The total load limit for the Wishbone is 2 kg. This includes the weight of your saddlebag and the two water bottles, so be mindful of how much liquid you are carrying to stay within the safe operating range.
