These fenders are designed for bikes with eyelet mounts and are compatible with 29-inch or 700c wheels. Because they are 65mm wide, you should ensure your bike frame has sufficient clearance between the tires and the frame stays before purchasing.

The safety release tabs are a critical feature designed to prevent wheel lock-up. If a large object, such as a stick or rock, gets caught between your tire and the fender, the tabs will release the fender to keep you from being thrown over the handlebars.

Installation is straightforward, but it does require basic mechanical skills and tools. The kit includes all necessary stainless steel hardware, but you will need your own wrenches or hex keys to secure them to your bike's eyelets.

The extra-long, flexible mudflaps extend the coverage of the aluminum fender body. This helps block road spray and debris from kicking up onto your drivetrain and your feet, keeping both you and your bike components cleaner in wet conditions.

These fenders are 65mm wide, which is quite broad. While they will physically mount to a road bike with eyelets, they are optimized for mountain or hybrid bikes with wider tires; they may look oversized and disproportionate on a standard road bike with narrow tires.
