KMC React Cassette

This cassette is designed for HG (HyperGlide) hub bodies, which is the standard spline pattern found on many mountain bike wheels. If your current wheel uses an XD or Micro Spline driver, this cassette will not be compatible without a hub body swap.

Because this cassette features a wide 11-50t range, you need to ensure your rear derailleur has the capacity to handle a 50-tooth cog. If your current derailleur is a standard road or short-cage mountain model, you may need a derailleur hanger extender or a long-cage derailleur to make it shift properly.

While it will function with most 11-speed chains, KMC optimizes the tooth profile for their own chains to ensure the quietest and smoothest shifting possible. Using a KMC 11-speed chain is recommended to get the full benefit of the engineered shift ramps.

The hardened steel construction prioritizes durability and wear resistance over ultra-lightweight performance. While it is slightly heavier than aluminum-alloy alternatives, it will last significantly longer under the high torque loads of climbing, making it a reliable choice for daily riders.
