This creates a larger contact patch for better traction and allows you to run lower tire pressures without the tire squirming or rolling off the rim during hard cornering.

While these wheels are tubeless-ready and optimized for tubeless setups to maximize the benefits of lower tire pressure, they can technically be used with inner tubes. However, for the best performance and puncture protection on gravel, we strongly recommend a tubeless configuration.
