DT Swiss XRC 1200 Spline Rear Wheel

This wheel is designed for modern cross-country frames using a 12mm x 148mm thru-axle, commonly known as Boost spacing. Please verify your frame's rear axle standard before purchasing to ensure a proper fit.

The XRC 1200 Spline is compatible with Center-Lock disc brake rotors. This system allows for quick and secure rotor installation compared to the traditional six-bolt standard.

While the rim is optimized for a tubeless-ready setup to maximize traction and puncture resistance, it is compatible with standard clincher tires and inner tubes if you prefer that configuration.

The Ratchet EXP system uses two spring-loaded ratchets that engage simultaneously across their entire surface area. This design provides faster, more reliable power transfer and is generally easier to service than traditional pawl-based hubs.

The hookless rim profile creates a stronger, more impact-resistant carbon structure while allowing the tire to sit more naturally against the rim wall. This improves the tire's shape for better cornering support and reduces the risk of pinch flats.

While engineered for high-performance cross-country racing, the XRC 1200's carbon construction and straight-pull spoke lacing provide enough stiffness and durability to handle technical trail riding. However, it is optimized for speed and weight savings rather than heavy-duty enduro or downhill abuse.
