These grips are designed for standard mountain bike handlebars with a 22.2mm diameter. Because they are a push-on design, they will fit most standard bars, but they are not compatible with drop-bar road bike handlebars.

No special tools are required, but installation can be tricky. Using a little bit of compressed air or a small amount of rubbing alcohol inside the grip can help them slide onto the bar more easily. Once the alcohol evaporates, they will stay securely in place.

Since these are traditional push-on grips rather than lock-on grips, they rely on a tight friction fit. If installed correctly with a clean handlebar surface, they should remain secure, but they may not offer the same absolute resistance to twisting as a bolt-on locking grip during extremely aggressive riding.

At 31.75mm, these are considered a medium-thickness grip. They provide a substantial feel that works well for riders with medium-sized hands, offering enough material to dampen trail vibration without feeling overly bulky or difficult to wrap your fingers around.

The rubber compound is designed for durability and grip, but because they lack a locking mechanism, you should ensure they are fully dried and properly installed to prevent any movement. They perform well in most conditions, though riders who frequently ride in very wet or muddy environments often prefer lock-on grips for added security.
