Hope Grip Doctor Bar End Plugs

The Grip Doctor plugs are designed for broad compatibility and include both 15mm and 17mm inserts to accommodate most standard mountain bike handlebars. They are intended for use with bars that have an open end, so ensure your grips do not have closed ends before installing.

These plugs use an expanding rubber wedge system. As you tighten the bolt, the rubber expands against the inner wall of your handlebar, creating a secure, locked-in fit that won't vibrate loose on technical trails.

They serve both purposes. While the anodized aluminum adds a clean, custom aesthetic to your cockpit, the primary function is to cap off your handlebar ends, preventing them from acting like a cookie cutter during a crash or protecting them from damage when you lean your bike against rough surfaces.

Installation is straightforward and requires only a standard hex key. You simply insert the plug into the bar end and tighten the bolt until the rubber wedge expands enough to hold the plug firmly in place.

They are machined from 2014 T6 aluminum, which is chosen for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio. This ensures they are durable enough to withstand trail abuse without adding unnecessary weight to your bike.
