The Maven Silver lever is specifically engineered for the high-power requirements of the Maven brake system. While it uses standard hydraulic fluid, it is optimized for the Maven caliper's specific piston volume and should be paired with Maven calipers for intended performance.

It arrives with the essential hardware you need to get started, including the barb, olive, and boot. You will still need a bleed kit and the appropriate hydraulic fluid to finalize the installation and ensure the system is air-free.

The aluminum blade offers a stiffer, more direct feel at the finger, which many riders prefer for aggressive, technical riding. While it carries a slight weight penalty compared to carbon, it provides exceptional durability and a very consistent, solid engagement point.

The Maven series is designed for heavy-duty, high-heat applications like enduro and downhill riding. While it will certainly stop a cross-country bike, the power and weight are likely more than you need for lighter trail use.
