Muc-Off Tubeless Setup Kit

This kit is specifically designed for downhill and plus-sized tires, featuring 35mm wide rim tape. Before purchasing, measure your rim's internal width to ensure 35mm provides the correct coverage for your specific wheelset.

The valves in this kit are 44mm long. While they fit most standard mountain bike rims, you should check your rim depth to ensure the valve stem is long enough to protrude sufficiently for your pump head to attach securely.

These valves are CNC-machined from aluminum, which offers superior durability and a more secure seal compared to standard plastic or lower-grade metal valves. They are built to withstand the higher pressures and rougher terrain typical of downhill riding.

While the kit includes the essential components, you will still need a few basic tools for installation, such as a clean cloth for degreasing the rim, a pair of scissors to trim the tape, and a high-volume floor pump or air compressor to seat the tire beads.

Sealant longevity depends on your local climate and how often you ride, but generally, you should check your levels every 3 to 6 months. In hotter, drier climates, you may need to top it up more frequently to ensure it remains effective against punctures.
