This cassette requires a Micro Spline freehub body. If your current wheelset uses a standard HG (Hyperglide) freehub, you will need to replace the freehub body or upgrade your wheelset to be compatible.

For the best performance and longevity, we strongly recommend using a Shimano 12-speed chain designed for Hyperglide+. While other chains might physically fit, they may not engage with the tooth profiles as precisely, leading to premature wear or less crisp shifting.

The 10-51t range provides an exceptionally wide gear ratio, giving you a very low gear for tackling steep, technical climbs and a high gear for maintaining speed on descents. It is designed to be a 'one-by' solution that eliminates the need for a front derailleur.
