Chromag BZA Handlebar

The unidirectional carbon fiber construction is designed to dampen high-frequency trail vibrations, which helps reduce hand and arm fatigue on long descents. While it maintains the stiffness required for aggressive riding, it offers a more muted, controlled feel than traditional aluminum handlebars.

The Chromag BZA requires a stem with a 35mm clamp diameter. Please verify your stem specifications before purchasing, as this will not fit standard 31.8mm clamps.

The 800mm width provides excellent leverage and stability, which is ideal for technical terrain and downhill riding. If you find it too wide for your local trails, the bar can be safely trimmed down to your preferred width using a fine-tooth hacksaw.

The BZA weighs 235 grams, which is approximately 25% lighter than comparable aluminum handlebars. While the weight savings are noticeable, the primary benefit is the improved vibration damping and stiffness-to-weight ratio.

This bar is purpose-built for aggressive riding, ranging from technical trail riding to full-on downhill descents. Its stiff, wide design is intended to handle the high-impact forces associated with demanding terrain.

The 8-degree backsweep and 5-degree upsweep are designed to put your wrists in a natural, ergonomic position. This geometry helps keep your elbows out and your posture comfortable, even during long, aggressive rides.
