RockShox Charger3 RC2 Damper for Boxxer

This kit is specifically engineered for the RockShox Boxxer D1+ chassis, model year 2024 and newer. It will not fit older Boxxer generations or other RockShox fork models.

The kit includes the complete right-side internal assembly, which features the Charger3 RC2 damper cartridge and the integrated ButterCups technology. It is a drop-in replacement designed to swap out your existing damper internals.

ButterCups are small rubber pucks located at the end of the damper shaft that act as a secondary suspension system. They are designed to absorb high-frequency trail chatter and vibrations before they reach your hands, significantly reducing fatigue on long or rough descents.

If you are comfortable performing a full fork service, including damper removal and oil changes, you can install this yourself. However, it requires specific tools and suspension fluid, so if you are unsure about the process, it is best to have a qualified mechanic handle the installation to ensure proper function.

The RC2 system provides independent high-speed and low-speed compression adjustments. This allows you to fine-tune how the fork reacts to big hits versus small bumps, giving you much greater control over the fork's support and sensitivity compared to a fixed or simpler damping setup.
