The Eileen 3 is a center-mount kickstand, meaning it is designed for bikes that have a mounting plate located behind the bottom bracket. Before purchasing, check your frame to ensure it has this mounting hole or plate, as it will not work on bikes requiring a rear-stay or chainstay mount.

The kickstand features a telescoping leg that can be adjusted to match your bike's wheel size. Simply loosen the adjustment bolt, slide the leg to your desired length, and tighten it back down to secure it in place.

While the Eileen 3 is constructed from durable aluminum alloy, it is primarily designed for standard commuter and hybrid bicycles. If you are riding a heavy e-bike, you may need a specialized heavy-duty stand, as the weight of an e-bike can exceed the load capacity of standard center-mount kickstands.

The internal spring is designed to be low-maintenance and keeps the stand securely tucked away while you ride. To keep it operating smoothly, you can occasionally apply a light bicycle lubricant to the pivot point if you notice any stiffness or squeaking.
