While it is engineered as a tubeless-ready tire, you can certainly install it with an inner tube if you prefer. However, running it tubeless will provide the best puncture protection and allow you to take advantage of lower tire pressures for a smoother ride.

The 32mm width provides a larger contact patch, which significantly improves grip and comfort on uneven road surfaces. You will notice a smoother ride and better vibration damping without sacrificing the rolling efficiency Goodyear is known for.

The Ultra-High-Performance (UHP) compound is optimized for grip and speed, which naturally involves a softer rubber formulation. While it offers excellent traction, you should expect a slightly faster wear rate compared to a dedicated, harder-compound touring tire.
