The Engage Pursuit Pro is designed to be a hybrid. While the polymer core offers the pop needed for power, the core thickness and surface texture provide the touch and dwell time required for precise, controlled shots.

The 16.5-inch elongated shape extends your reach and creates a higher swing weight, which helps generate more power on overheads and drives. However, it also requires a bit more precision, as the sweet spot is slightly different compared to wider, standard-shaped paddles.

At 8.15 oz, this paddle sits in the mid-weight range, which is generally stable without being overly taxing. The counter-balanced weight distribution is specifically engineered to keep the paddle feeling maneuverable and quick at the net, helping to reduce arm fatigue.

The 15.875 mm core is on the thicker side, which is a deliberate choice to increase stability and dampen vibrations. This thickness helps absorb impact, making the paddle feel more forgiving on off-center hits while maintaining a solid, consistent response.

The grip circumference is 4.375 inches, which is a standard medium size that fits most players comfortably. If you prefer a thicker handle, you can easily add an overgrip to increase the circumference to your preference.
