The light features an integrated USB connector built directly into the body. You simply remove the end cap and plug the light directly into any standard USB port, eliminating the need for a separate charging cable.

At 500 lumens, it is well-suited for city commuting and well-lit paths. If you frequently ride on completely unlit rural roads or trails, you may want a higher-output light, but for general visibility and urban riding, it provides ample illumination.

The rubber strap is highly versatile and designed to stretch securely around various handlebar diameters. It provides a snug, vibration-resistant fit that keeps the light stable even on rougher pavement.

These cutouts allow light to shine out the sides of the housing rather than just forward. This significantly increases your profile to traffic approaching from intersections or side streets, which is a critical safety feature for urban riding.

The Hecto Drive offers a maximum runtime of up to 20 hours, though this depends heavily on the mode you select. Using the highest output settings will drain the battery faster than the lower-intensity or flashing modes.

High-output LEDs generate heat, which can degrade performance or battery life over time. The machined aluminum body acts as a heat sink, and the integrated fins help dissipate that heat efficiently to keep the light running reliably.
