CST Big Boat Tire

This tire is designed for 20-inch wheels with an ISO 406 bead seat diameter. Because it is a 4.0-inch wide fat tire, ensure your bike frame and fork have sufficient clearance to accommodate the extra width before purchasing.

While the Big Boat features micro-knurled sections and wide siping for traction on loose surfaces, it is primarily designed as an all-around performer. It handles paved paths and light gravel well, but it is not a dedicated mud or aggressive trail tire.

The maximum pressure for this tire is 30 PSI. Depending on your weight and the terrain, you may find better comfort and traction by running it at a lower pressure, but always stay within the manufacturer's specified range.

This model features a wire bead. This construction adds durability and helps the tire maintain its shape, though it does make the tire slightly heavier and less compact to store than folding bead alternatives.

The high-volume casing acts as a natural shock absorber, allowing the tire to conform to bumps and uneven surfaces. This results in a smoother, more comfortable ride compared to narrower, lower-volume tires.
