Halo Clickster Freewheel

The Halo Clickster uses a standard 1.37in x 24TPI thread, which is the industry standard for almost all single-speed threaded hubs. It should be a direct, hassle-free replacement for your existing freewheel.

With 72 points of engagement, the 'dead zone'—the distance your pedals move before the hub engages—is significantly reduced. You will notice a much snappier, more responsive feel when you start pedaling, which is especially helpful for technical maneuvers or quick acceleration.

The Clickster is designed for 3/32-inch chains. If you are running a wider 1/8-inch chain, it will technically fit, but you may experience a bit of side-to-side play.

Most standard freewheels use fewer pawls, which concentrates the force on fewer points. By using six pawls, the Clickster distributes the pedaling load more evenly across the mechanism, which reduces wear and significantly lowers the risk of pawl failure under heavy torque.

A 17T cog is a very versatile middle-ground for single-speed setups. It provides enough leverage for climbing moderate hills while still allowing for a decent cruising speed on flat ground, making it a great all-around choice for urban commuting.
