The dual-compound design blends two different rubber densities to balance comfort and durability. It provides a softer, grippy feel where your hands contact the bars, while using a firmer compound underneath to maintain structural integrity and prevent the grip from twisting.

With a 32mm diameter, these grips fall into a standard, medium-thickness range. They are generally comfortable for most riders, though those with very large hands or a preference for a thicker grip may find them slightly slim.

The closed-end design provides extra protection for your handlebars during crashes and keeps dirt out of the bar ends. However, because they are closed, they are not compatible with bar-end mirrors or some types of bar-end plugs.

While the tread pattern is inspired by aggressive mountain bike tires to maximize traction, the material itself is designed to be compliant. Most riders find the texture provides a secure, locked-in feel without being abrasive, even on longer rides.

At 135mm, these grips are standard length and should fit the vast majority of modern mountain bike setups. They provide ample surface area for hand positioning, even if you prefer to ride with your hands toward the outer edges of the bars.
