Yes. Each pedal features 12 stainless steel pins per side, which are strategically placed to provide a very secure, planted feel. Combined with the generous 118mm x 102mm platform, they offer excellent traction for demanding all-mountain and downhill conditions.

The Ripsaw is built with a machined aluminum body and a 17-4 PH stainless steel spindle, which is exceptionally strong. Additionally, the 7mm leading edge helps reduce the likelihood of pedal strikes by providing extra clearance over obstacles.

These pedals use a robust system of three sealed cartridge bearings and one igus bushing, protected by a radial seal to keep out debris. While they are designed to be low-maintenance, you can service them by removing the spindle assembly to clean and re-grease the internal components as needed.

The Ripsaw pedals use a standard 9/16-inch spindle thread, which is the universal size for almost all modern mountain bike cranksets. They are compatible with everything from XC bikes to dedicated downhill rigs.
