The twin-fin configuration makes this board significantly more responsive and lively than a traditional single-fin mid-length. It allows for faster, more drivey bottom turns and tighter redirection on the open face, giving you a more performance-oriented ride without sacrificing the glide you expect from this category.

While the generous volume makes it easy to paddle and catch waves, the performance-focused twin-fin design is better suited for intermediate to advanced surfers. Beginners might find the sensitivity and rail-to-rail responsiveness a bit challenging to control compared to a more stable, beginner-specific longboard or foamie.

This board excels in average, everyday surf—think waist-high to slightly overhead conditions. Its refined rocker and volume allow it to generate speed easily in weaker waves while still holding its own when the surf has a bit more push and shape.

The board is specifically engineered for a twin-fin setup using the longboard box and side bites. While you could technically experiment with a single fin, the design's performance characteristics—specifically the drive and hold—are optimized for the twin-fin configuration.

The 45.4 liters of volume provide excellent flotation, making paddling effortless and ensuring you maintain trim speed even in flatter sections. Despite the volume, the refined rails and tail rocker keep the board feeling sensitive and agile rather than bulky.

Beyond the clean, minimalist aesthetic, the satin gloss finish provides a durable, high-quality seal for the fiberglass construction. It offers a nice balance between the protection of a gloss coat and the reduced weight and drag of a matte finish.
