These fins use the FCS II system, so they are compatible with any FCS II fin box. They are best paired with performance-oriented boards that feature deep concaves and moderate-to-extreme rocker.

While they can be used in various conditions, they are specifically engineered for punchy, hollow waves. You might find them a bit stiff or lacking drive in very weak, soft surf where a fin with more surface area or a different foil might be more effective.

Performance Core (PC) construction provides a consistent flex pattern that feels lively and predictable. It offers a balance between the stiffness of fiberglass and the lightweight feel of composite materials, making it a versatile choice for high-performance surfing.

These fins are generally recommended for advanced surfers who have the technique to engage the rail and drive through turns. If you are still developing your bottom turn or rail-to-rail transitions, you might find a more neutral template easier to manage.
