While it excels in deep snow thanks to its tapered tail and rockered nose, the Navigator is surprisingly capable on groomers. Its Resort V2 Directional profile provides enough edge hold and stability to handle hardpack and variable resort conditions comfortably.

With a 5.5 flex rating, this board sits in the sweet spot for most riders. It is stiff enough to offer power and stability at higher speeds, but flexible enough that it won't feel punishing or overly demanding during long days on the mountain.

This topsheet design removes the traditional heavy plastic layer found on most snowboards. By using a treated wood veneer instead, Capita significantly reduces the board's overall weight without sacrificing durability, leading to a more nimble feel underfoot.

Like any high-speed sintered base, the HyperDrive base performs best when it is waxed regularly. If you keep up with a consistent waxing schedule, you will notice a significant difference in speed and glide, especially in flat sections or slushy spring snow.

The Navigator is generally better suited for intermediate to advanced riders. Its directional shape and specific camber profile are designed for performance in varied terrain, which can be less forgiving for someone still learning the fundamentals of turning and edge control.
