Bataleon's 3BT lifts the edges at the contact points, which makes turn initiation smoother and significantly reduces the chance of catching an edge. It gives the board a looser, more forgiving feel in the center while keeping the edges engaged when you need them for carving.

With a medium flex rating of 5, this board is approachable for an ambitious beginner but is really designed for intermediate to advanced riders. It provides enough stability for progression without being so stiff that it feels unforgiving or difficult to maneuver.

The directional twin shape, combined with the SideKick uplift, helps the nose stay above the snow more easily than a true twin. While it is not a dedicated powder board, it offers excellent float and maneuverability for those occasional deep days.

Urethane sidewalls act as a shock absorber for your ride. They dampen vibrations from choppy snow or icy hardpack, which reduces leg fatigue and provides a much smoother, more stable feel underfoot compared to standard ABS sidewalls.

Sintered bases are porous and absorb wax much better than extruded bases, which means they are faster and more durable. You will need to wax it regularly—ideally every few rides—to keep it running at its best performance level.
