The MIDI version features a platform that is 10% smaller than the standard Vault. It is specifically designed for riders who prefer a more compact footprint or have smaller feet, offering better ground clearance on technical trails without sacrificing the grip and concave shape of the original.

Yes, the pins are fully replaceable. If you damage a pin on a rock strike or wear one down over time, you can easily swap it out to maintain consistent traction.

The pedals use a combination of high-load DU bushings and cartridge bearings, which are designed for durability and smooth rotation. While they are built to be robust, we recommend a basic clean and re-grease once or twice a year, depending on how often you ride in wet or muddy conditions.

While the MIDI is designed for a more nimble feel and better clearance, riders with larger feet may find the platform slightly restrictive compared to the standard Vault. If you prioritize maximum surface area and foot stability over clearance, the standard size is likely the better choice.

The concave shape allows your foot to sit deeper into the pedal body rather than on top of it. This creates a more secure connection, helping your foot stay planted during aggressive riding and reducing the likelihood of slipping off during rough sections.
