The 312 R features a specific geometry designed to alleviate pressure on the ulnar nerve and reduce strain on the wrists during long rides. Unlike traditional round bars, the shape provides a more natural hand position that encourages a relaxed grip, helping to minimize fatigue over extended hours in the saddle.

The SQlab 312 R uses a standard 31.8 mm clamp diameter, which is the industry standard for the vast majority of modern road bike stems. As long as your current stem is designed for this diameter, it will be a direct fit.

While the 312 R is engineered for high stiffness to ensure responsive steering and efficient power transfer, the carbon layup is specifically tuned to dampen road vibration. You get the rigidity needed for climbing and sprinting without the harsh feedback often associated with stiffer aluminum bars.

The 312 R features a 120 mm drop and an 80 mm reach. These dimensions are designed to offer a balanced, modern road riding position that is aggressive enough for performance but comfortable enough for endurance riding.

We generally advise against mounting clip-on aero bars to this handlebar unless the manufacturer specifically approves it. The carbon layup is optimized for weight and vibration damping rather than the high clamping forces required by aero bar mounts, which can compromise the structural integrity of the bar.
