These are designed to fit standard drop handlebars and 22.2mm flat handlebars. Because they use an expansion wedge mechanism, they are compatible with most standard bar inner diameters, but you should verify your bar's internal diameter before purchasing.

Installation is straightforward but requires care. You insert the plug into the end of the handlebar and tighten the bolt, which expands the internal wedge to secure the plug in place. Be careful not to overtighten, as brass is a softer metal than steel.

The plugs are treated with an archival wax to protect the brass from the elements. Over time, the brass will naturally develop a patina, which is part of its character, but you can reapply a high-quality wax if you prefer to maintain a polished look.
