The 2+1 configuration offers the best of both worlds. You get the stability and drive of a single fin for cruising, plus the added hold and maneuverability from the side bites when you need to turn or surf in slightly steeper conditions.

The Coaster is designed for versatility. It excels in small to medium, everyday surf, handling everything from soft, rolling rollers to punchier beach breaks thanks to its bottom contour, which transitions from a single concave for speed to a vee tail for easier rail-to-rail transitions.

The pulled-in thumb tail reduces surface area at the back of the board, which allows for tighter, more controlled turns. It gives this longboard a bit more agility and responsiveness than you would typically find on a wider-tailed board.
