While it is built to a high-end specification, the Prody is accessible enough for beginners who want a bike they won't need to upgrade immediately. Its geometry is stable and responsive, making it a great platform for learning the basics while offering the durability needed as your skills progress.

The gyro system allows for unlimited bar spins without tangling brake cables, but it does require occasional adjustment to keep the brakes feeling crisp. It is a mechanical system, so you will need to ensure the cables are properly tensioned to maintain consistent stopping power.

The 20.6-inch top tube is considered a standard, versatile length that fits a wide range of riders, typically those between 5'6" and 5'11". If you are significantly taller or shorter, you might prefer a slightly longer or shorter frame, but for most riders, this size offers a balanced feel between stability and agility.

While the Prody is designed for park, street, and flatland riding, it can certainly handle casual cruising. However, keep in mind that it is a single-speed BMX bike with a rigid frame, so it won't be as comfortable or efficient as a dedicated commuter bike for long distances.

Chromoly steel is significantly stronger and lighter than the high-tensile steel found on entry-level bikes. This allows the frame to withstand the heavy impacts of street and park riding without bending or cracking, while keeping the overall weight manageable at 26 lbs.

The bike typically arrives partially disassembled in a box, requiring you to attach the handlebars, front wheel, seat, and pedals. You will need basic tools like Allen keys and a wrench, and we recommend having a shop check the assembly if you are not confident in your mechanical skills.
