Racing Ralph

The Racing Ralph is primarily designed as a rear tire. Its tread pattern is optimized for speed and traction during acceleration, making it an ideal partner for a more aggressive, grippy tire like the Schwalbe Racing Ray on the front.

While it is engineered as a Tubeless Ready tire, you can absolutely use it with inner tubes. However, running it tubeless is recommended to take full advantage of the lower pressure capabilities and improved puncture resistance.

The Addix Speed compound is formulated for hard-packed, fast, and dry trails. It minimizes rolling resistance to keep your momentum high, though it may sacrifice some grip in loose, muddy, or extremely wet conditions.

The 57mm width is equivalent to a 2.25-inch tire. Check your bike frame and fork manufacturer's specifications for maximum tire clearance to ensure you have adequate space for the tire and potential mud buildup.

The folding bead is generally easier to work with than a rigid wire bead, making it simpler to mount on most modern tubeless-ready rims. It also helps keep the overall weight of the tire down.
