This is a direct-mount brake, meaning your frame must have specific mounting studs integrated into the seat stays or chainstays. It will not fit frames designed for traditional single-bolt center-mount calipers.

The official clearance is 28mm. While some riders may squeeze in slightly wider tires depending on their rim width and tire profile, 28mm is the maximum recommended width to ensure safe clearance and prevent rubbing.

This caliper uses a short-pull actuation system. It is designed to work with standard Shimano road brake levers, including mechanical rim brake STI shifters. It is not compatible with long-pull levers meant for mountain bikes or linear-pull brakes.
