Topeak Fuel Tank

This bag is designed for standard frames, fitting top tubes with a diameter between 38mm and 52mm and head tubes between 34mm and 75mm. It is best to measure your frame's tubing before purchasing to ensure the straps will secure properly.

While the bag is made from durable 420 Denier Nylon and features a protective flap over the zipper to shield contents from light rain and road spray, it is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. We recommend keeping sensitive electronics in a dry bag inside if you are riding in heavy downpours.

The Fuel Tank uses a dual-point mounting system that attaches to both the top tube and the head tube. This setup provides significantly more stability than single-strap designs, keeping the bag firmly in place even when you are climbing or sprinting.

With a 0.5-liter capacity, this bag is sized for essentials rather than bulk. It comfortably fits items like a few energy gels, a multi-tool, house keys, or a standard smartphone, but it is not intended for larger items like tubes or pumps.

The straps are designed to be secure, but road grit can sometimes get trapped between the bag and the frame, which may cause minor scuffing over time. If you are concerned about your frame's finish, applying a small piece of clear protective frame tape where the straps make contact is a simple and effective solution.
