No, this board is specifically designed for steel-tip darts. Using soft-tip darts on a sisal fiber board will not provide the necessary penetration and could damage the board surface.

The EVA foam surround is designed to fit snugly around the dartboard without additional hardware. It essentially friction-fits around the board, providing immediate protection for your walls.

The triangular shape of the spider wire creates a thinner profile compared to traditional round wire. This design helps deflect darts into the scoring segments rather than bouncing them off the wire, which significantly reduces bounce-outs.

A staple-free bullseye removes the metal fasteners typically found in the center of the board. This creates a cleaner target area and reduces the chance of your dart hitting a staple and bouncing out, which is especially helpful when aiming for the bullseye.

The board is designed for standard wall mounting, but you should ensure your wall can support the 12.5-pound weight of the unit. For drywall, we recommend using appropriate wall anchors or mounting directly into a stud for the most secure setup.

To ensure even wear on the sisal fibers, you should rotate the board periodically. Simply remove the number ring, rotate the board to a fresh segment, and reattach the ring.
