Guidering DH Chainring

The Guidering DH is designed for 1x8, 1x9, and 1x10 speed drivetrains. It uses a standard 104mm BCD mounting pattern, so ensure your crankset matches this specification before purchasing.

While the ring features a 0.5mm step on the teeth to assist with retention, it is specifically engineered to work in tandem with a chainguide system. For aggressive downhill riding, using a guide is highly recommended to prevent chain drops and jamming.

The 4mm thickness provides extra durability for gravity riding and ensures a secure fit within most chainguide systems. This added material helps prevent the ring from bending under the high torque loads common in downhill racing.

The deep recess nut interface allows the chainring bolts to sit flush or slightly recessed. This provides better clearance for your chain and helps prevent the bolts from interfering with the chainring or the chainguide hardware.

While it is built for the rigors of downhill, it is perfectly capable of handling aggressive trail riding. However, because it is optimized for 1x setups with a chainguide, it is best suited for riders who prioritize chain security over weight savings.
