Fizik Terra Argo X3

While Fizik designed the Terra Argo X3 specifically for the demands of gravel—focusing on vibration damping and stability—its geometry works well for road cyclists who prefer a short-nose saddle and a more upright or endurance-focused position.

The shorter 270mm length encourages a more stable, planted position on the saddle, which helps reduce pressure on soft tissue when you are in an aggressive or forward-leaning riding posture. It also makes it easier to transition on and off the bike without snagging your shorts.

Wingflex allows the sides of the saddle shell to flex slightly as you pedal. This movement accommodates the natural motion of your inner thighs, preventing chafing and allowing for a more efficient, unrestricted pedal stroke.

The Kium rails feature a standard 7mm diameter, which is compatible with the vast majority of seatposts on the market, including those with side-clamp or top-clamp mechanisms.

Type-2 foam is slightly softer and more progressive than the firm padding found on pure racing saddles. It provides enough support to prevent bottoming out on long gravel rides while offering enough compliance to absorb road buzz and chatter.

The right width depends on your sit-bone measurement. If you have narrower hips or prefer a more performance-oriented feel, the 150mm is usually the better choice; if you have wider sit bones or prefer a more upright, relaxed posture, the 160mm will provide better support.
