It is designed for both. The smooth, round profile and tightly spaced tread allow it to roll efficiently on pavement while providing enough grip and stability for hard-packed dirt surfaces.

SilkWorm is a protective breaker material integrated beneath the tread. It adds a layer of puncture and tear resistance to the casing without significantly increasing the tire's weight or stiffness.

This specific tire is a 20x1-1/8 size with an ISO of 451. Please double-check your rim's ISO measurement, as it will not fit standard 20-inch BMX rims that use the 406 ISO standard.

The wire bead is rigid, which makes the tire slightly heavier and less foldable than Kevlar-beaded tires. While it can be a bit more challenging to mount, it provides a very secure, stable fit on the rim once installed.

While the tire is rated for a maximum of 110 PSI, you can certainly run lower pressures depending on your weight and the terrain. However, because this is a narrower 1-1/8 inch tire, running it too soft increases the risk of pinch flats.
