Abus Yardo Chain Lock

The Yardo lock is designed to store multiple fingerprints, allowing you to grant access to family members or friends without needing to share a physical key or code.

The sensor is built to be weather-resistant, but like most biometric scanners, it performs best when the sensor surface is relatively clean and dry. If it is raining heavily, a quick wipe of the sensor before use will ensure the most reliable recognition.

The lock is designed with safety in mind; if the battery runs out, the lock remains in its current state. You will need to use the provided emergency charging method or backup power source to unlock it.

At 850mm, this chain is ideal for securing your frame and one wheel to standard bike racks or signposts. If you have a larger frame or prefer to lock both wheels, you may find the length slightly restrictive.

A 7mm hardened steel chain offers a solid balance between portability and security. It is effective for quick stops and low-to-medium risk areas, though for high-theft urban environments, you might consider a thicker chain for added peace of mind.
