Salsa EXP-R Series Frame Bag

The EXP-R Series Campion features a universal mounting system with TPU-coated webbing straps, designed to accommodate a wide variety of front triangle geometries. While it is highly adaptable, we recommend measuring your bike's top tube and down tube against the bag's dimensions—28.7 cm and 19.8 cm respectively—to ensure a secure, interference-free fit.

The bag is designed for on-the-go access with one-hand operable zippers on the drive side. It also includes four-way stretch mesh external pockets, which are perfect for stashing nutrition or small items you need to grab quickly without opening the main compartment.

The bag is constructed from durable 1000D bluesign-approved Cordura nylon and features molded-tooth zippers protected by rain flaps. While these features provide significant weather resistance to keep your gear dry during typical riding conditions, the bag is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, so we recommend using dry bags for sensitive electronics in extreme downpours.

Because this is a compact frame bag, it is generally designed to leave space for water bottles on the seat tube or down tube. However, depending on your frame size and bottle cage placement, you may need to use side-entry cages or smaller bottles to maintain full clearance.

The 1000D Cordura nylon is an exceptionally rugged, high-denier fabric known for its abrasion resistance and longevity. Choosing this material ensures the bag can withstand the friction of straps, trail debris, and the rigors of long-distance riding without tearing or wearing through prematurely.
