Folding Steel Hockey Goal

While the 18-gauge steel frame is durable, this goal is primarily designed for street hockey, roller hockey, or training drills with lighter balls and plastic pucks. It is not recommended for regulation ice hockey pucks, which can damage the netting or dent the frame over time.

The goal is designed to collapse flat, making it easy to slide under a bed, behind a door, or into a garage corner. While the exact folded thickness depends on how the net is bundled, it significantly reduces the 30-inch depth, allowing for efficient storage.

The included anchors are designed to secure the goal into soft surfaces like grass or dirt. If you are playing on concrete or gym floors, you will need to use sandbags or heavy weights to keep the goal from sliding during play.

The net uses a bungee and clamp system, which is straightforward to set up. It is designed to keep the net taut and secure during intense play, and the bungee system makes it relatively simple to remove or replace if the netting eventually wears out.

The frame is weather-resistant, but leaving it exposed to harsh elements for extended periods can eventually lead to rust or degradation of the netting. For the longest lifespan, we recommend storing it indoors or in a garage when not in use.
