While it is designed as a game-ready ball, it is durable enough for high-level practice sessions. However, because of the premium leather construction, it will perform best on grass fields rather than abrasive turf or concrete surfaces.

The premium leather provides a more natural, tacky feel that improves as the ball breaks in. Unlike composite balls, which often have a synthetic, pre-tacky surface, this leather ball requires a bit of use to reach its optimal grip level.

This ball is specifically engineered for outdoor grass surfaces. Using it on artificial turf can cause the leather to scuff and wear down much faster than intended, potentially compromising the ball's structural integrity.

The ball typically ships deflated to protect the bladder during transit. You will need a standard ball pump with a needle to inflate it to the recommended PSI, which is printed near the valve.

The leather laces provide a traditional, tactile feel that many quarterbacks prefer for consistent grip when throwing. They offer a slightly different texture than rubberized laces, which helps with finger placement and control during release.

To keep the leather in top condition, wipe the ball down with a damp cloth after use to remove dirt and moisture. Avoid soaking it in water, and store it in a cool, dry place to prevent the leather from drying out or cracking over time.
