While the high-density foam provides solid impact protection, these are designed primarily for MMA training that involves both striking and grappling. If you are doing heavy bag work, you might prefer a dedicated boxing glove with more knuckle padding to prevent premature wear on the leather.

The open-palm construction is specifically engineered to allow for dexterity during clinching and grappling, which naturally reduces some of the rigid support found in full-coverage boxing gloves. However, the integrated elastic and velcro closure system is designed to lock the wrist in place, offering a secure fit that balances mobility with necessary stability.

Because they are crafted from 100% genuine leather, they will feel slightly stiff initially. You can expect them to soften and mold to the unique shape of your hand after a few training sessions.

The Fly Shadow 2.0 follows standard sizing conventions. If you typically wear hand wraps, we recommend measuring your hand circumference across the knuckles and choosing the size that accommodates the extra bulk of the wraps to ensure the ergonomic compartment doesn't feel too tight.
